Special Directions

Travelling south along the South West highway turn left at the Shell garage at the intersection of SW Hwy & Jarrahdale Road. From this point travel 11 kms up Jarrahdale Road, passing the Jarrahdale town site and old saw mill and turn left at a blue sign / white letters SSAA, nailed to a tree on to an unsealed road for 2,8kms. This will bring you to a pleasant site in the forest - JSSI Prac Pistol.

Brief Description

Three 50m x 20m ranges that can be divided to make up seven courses of fire.

Our complex is now one of the largest facilities in WA. We offer many of the mainstream shooting disciplines ranging from Bench Rest to Practical Pistol/IPSC. As with all Firearms clubs, we have a rather rigorous Firearms Safety and Training program which every member has to pass before they are allowed to participate un-supervised.

JSSI Practical Pistol is an IPSC affiliated club, and uses the IPSC rules (14^th edition.)
We welcome the opportunity to share a days shooting with you and extend an invitation to all shooters to visit our club on a Saturday of your choice. We only shoot on Saturday afternoons starting at 13.30 and finish around 17.00 depending on the number of shooters present.

There are two shelters 12m x 5m adjacent to the ranges to keep the shooters out of the sun or rain whilst not shooting.

An ablution block and canteen facilities and are available at the large club house 30m from the range

We have a membership of approximately 92 Prac Pistol shooters and we usually have around 20 turn up on any given Saturday, the split being 75% standard class and approximately 25% in the open class

It is encouraging to note a steady increase in membership
