Fresh back from the Pine
Valley Open and what a glorious day to be shooting (if 'shooting' is wot
u can my piss poor effort). I have no excuse for you, other than
the fact, I'm a crap shot!
Congrats the Dave Lucas and the PVPC crew for a smooth event. Big
Dave also won the Standard Division. Congratulations.
Well done to Team Adrenalin legend Mick for coming second.
Results can be found here or from the Results Page.
The Team head off to Sydney in a couple of days for the IPSC Nationals. Will give you the ho-down on our return.
To all the WA doods travelling east for the event, good luck, see u there.

Sup crew.
I had to pick a Level 2 shoot to embarrass myself didn't I. No. Not happy with the big comeback by sneaking into the range quietly one afternoon waring a pair of those glasses with the fake nose to try and work out which is the dangerous end of the gun, me, being the idiot I am, used the West Coast Pistol & Revolver Club Open and the ....... *deep breath* ....fantastic *coff* strong hand week hand 'Standards' that the illustrious Mick and Phil put together to demonstrate my shooting prowess.
Although rusty as hell, it was good to be back in the saddle again after bionic knee and bionic eyes had been taken care of followed by a good 18 months of recoup.
Thanks
again to the crew from WCPRC for
the shoot, ran smooth, real smooth. Always a pleasure to shoot it.
Congratulations to Team Adrenalin legend - Mick's
for his win.
Results can be found here or click the link in the main menu bar the
left.
Don't forget the PVPC shoot in a few weeks and the Nationals in April. If you haven't made application, book your flights and enter now, its a great experience.
Looking forward to seeing more
of you all at the upcoming shoots.

G'day, hope you like the new look page. Been a
couple of years now since we made a substantial design change, our biggest
limitation previously being web space. You see, our previous server only
allowed us 30 megs of space and we kinda outgrew that. With thanks
to our generous sponsors at Kiss Hosting, you are now looking at this
web page on our new server. They have allocated us 200 megs to play with
and as a result we will be able to expand our photo album and bring
shooting video mpegs onto the site. Watch this space over the
coming weeks as the new format slowly evolves.
My knee went under the knife three weeks ago and is doing pretty well
considering they gave me the full 33,000k service while I was kippin.
As expected the
Meniscus (crescent shaped piece of cartilage that hangs out between
Femur and Tibia) had a
Meniscal Tare and the surgeon ended up removing about 40% of it.
While he was inside he had a looksy about and did a
Patella Chondropasty
with Lateral Release
(you explain it to me please). Apart from the occasional and
unannounced falling on arse for no reason trick, I can walk without pain
for the first time since February,
ride my bike with the boyz
and all going well I will be running and shooting by the end of the
year.
Don't forget the SSSC
shoot in a few days, detailed info can be
found here, and pop in
to visit our ....ummm...."associates" at Perth Extreme by
clicking here.
Take care and DVC.

Yo Whassssup!
It's been a few months since
the last update but due to the silly season there is not that much to report
in the WA shooting scene.
The Ausi Nationals are in a couple of weeks and for the first time in five
years, yours truly has had to pull out with only a few weeks to run due to a
fantastic NON CONTACT sport called Basketball. Whilst on my court with
a few buds - pretending to be like Mike, I managed to damage a ligament in
my right knee (fancy physiotherapist word but it eludes me). Knees are
kinda handy in practical pistol and at the moment I can just make out the
shape of a kneecap under a blob of swelling. So....having drawn a tear
to your eye I'm sure... I wish all those attending the Nats the very best of
luck.
The Team will be represented
by Tex, Mick and Phil and no doubt they will look good doing it...and no
Texas, I'm not coming to hold your umbrella and pick up your brass punk!
Only yesterday I discovered the passing of Elio Stefani's (animated WA Open
Shooter) father and although belated Elio, the Team pass on their most
sincere condolences.
The Pine Valley Pistol Club
held their Level 2 on the weekend and the results can be found
here. Congratulations to Rob Woodhouse
who has become a Jedi like his master (said with deep heavy breathing) by
winning Standard Gun and Colin Anderson for winning the Division where they
use all that bolt on stuff.
Hope to see you on range (once the surgeon has made me Bionic),
DVC and good luck at the Nats!

18 March 2002.
Yo Whassssup!!
Welcome to 2002. Trusting you all had a calorie enriched Christmas and have survived the new year mania.
I have been a bit slack with 'anything shooting' the last few months and unfortunately the web page was part of that. Due to my little break, the last few results of the 2001 year were not available for viewing.....but.... now they are. Please click on the Calendar & Results link on the menu-bar to view the results of the 2001 - October WA State Titles, the November Gosnells Open and the November SSAA Nationals. I plan to chuck lotsa lead around this year and promise to stay on top of things with the page!
The 2002 calendar has been updated to include the current confirmed open shoot dates. You will notice SSSC have scheduled an open for this year along with Carnarvon who have had their share of setbacks over the last couple of years (great water stages), also nominating a date. The first shoot of the year will be the Gosnells Revolver Championships on 27 January. Grab your wheel gun and click here for more details.
For non shooting related
stuff.... due to popular demand....we have updated the
Babe Gallery (grueling webmaster stuff) with the new section of Shooting
Babes aptly entitled "Get Some" and included a section for the after hours antics of
Team Adrenalin's
Extreme Superbike Team pages (still very much under construction).
Ohh and thank you to everyone who emails Team Adrenalin with their own
selection of babes to add to our pages...keep em coming.
Look forward to seeing you on range this year.....and remember, if you cant
shoot well, just look good doing it.

Whassssup!
It's been over 24 hours and
already I am counting the days until next year.
The Swanbourne Services Shooting
Club
Invitational was held yesterday and 100 lucky shooters (and 200 sandbags)
had the opportunity to enjoy the facilities located at the Special Air
Services Regiment barracks in Swanbourne.
It was great to see new faces
from clubs all over the state. Thanks for coming guys (and gals), the
Team look forward to seeing you next year for what we hope will be an open
shoot for all to enjoy.
The Team's thanks go out to Weeksy who gave away a spot to hang out on a
boat near a tropical island to stay and make the shoot happen.
IPSC Australian Regional Director - Des Lilley flew (using his own resources) to enjoy the shoot and introduce himself to the West Ausi's. Our sincere thanks go out to Des for joining us for the event. Not only can we be assured that IPSC Australia is in capable hands, but he is a gentleman and a bloody good shot with a pistol........even if the pistol does need batteries!
Thank you also to the Regiment photographer - Morgan who donned a NoShoot T-Shirt and positioned himself in some nuts places to get outstanding photo's of most of the shooters. Morgan will be forwarding me the images within the next few days and I will make sure they get online ASAP so you can all inspect the event, your shooting and his handiwork. If anyone would like copies of any of the images you see, you can email Morgan and he can arrange for the hi-res versions of the images to be professionally reproduced on Kodak stock for a reasonable fee.
The results of the shoot
can be found here and don't forget.....PVPC Open in
two weeks. Hope to see you there.

Whassssup!
It's official. After four years of
absence, Swanbourne Services Shooting Club is back in the loop for Western Australian open
shoots. On September 1 and 2, SSSC will be hosting an invitational shoot as a
warm-up to their scheduled open in 2002.
Located in the multimillion dollar "Team Taxpayer" 360 degree indoor shooting
facility within the SASR barracks in Swanbourne, SSSC put on the most diverse, challenging
and exciting shoot in the Prac Pistol annual schedule. For those who have not
attended before through choice...you have GOT to be mad!
The last shoot in 1997 had us releasing ourselves from parachute harnesses, moving
through courses of fire with gas masks and MP5 Sub Machine Guns, and jumping out of
APC's. Nobody will forget the clip everybody got to fire on full auto out of a
H&K MP5. Course design is underway and there will be some great surprises.
Sold you yet?....good! Spots are limited to eight per club. Each club will be responsible for allocating shooters to their spot. FOR MORE DETAILS ON THIS SHOOT CLICK HERE or email Deej.
The SSAA Prac Pistol State Titles was shot last weekend and congratulations to Team Adrenalin Legend Mick for his outstanding win. Overall the shoot was a great result for the team with all four Team Adrenalin members getting in the top five. Well done guys. The results can be found here.
That's about it for this update, see you on
range and remember, if you cant shoot well....just look good doing it.

Yo Whhaaaassssup!!!
Shit hot. The only way to describe it. What a fantastic shoot the team has come back from. The 2001 Nationals was held in South Australia and although not coming home with a good result we come home with some fantastic memories.
Our hat comes off to the South Australian organisers who hosted the shoot, in particular Bob Balsamo and Bill Wood for making the team feel welcome and hosting a smooth event. South Australia also turned on some of the best weather we have shot in. Leaving Perth expecting the worst with Poncho's and thermal underwear we were pleasantly surprised.
It was great to once again catch up with shooters from all over the country and New Zealand and to meet so many new ones. We look forward to catching up with you all again in Melbourne next year.
It is unofficial that next years 2002 Nationals will be held in Little River (as in 1998) in NSW, about 50 mins drive from Melbourne. We have also heard that it is likely that the 2003 Nationals will be held in Whiteman Park (PVPC) right here in Western Australia. We cant wait.
As previously mentioned, the nationals was held over three days of shooting comprising 16 stages. In quoting Bill Wood "we wanted to make this a shooters match, not an athlete's match" and that they did. Some tricky stages, moving bridge, 32 round confusing surprise kinda nightmare thingy, some with one shot per target, plenty of steel, some targets that you would pick up a rifle to shoot they were that far away. Overall enjoyed by all, no controversies or arbitration, very few DQ's and many challenges. Thanks fellas.
Congratulations to Team Adrenalin bud Steve
Clough for winning the Standard Division event. Steve won the event with style,
methodically and with little fanfare, Steve shot consistently for the three full days.
Brodie McIntosh once again won the class where everyone has those noisy guns with
all that stuff bolted to it...whats it called again? ohh yeah 'Open Division'.
Congratulations to Rick Young for winning the new production class (13 shooters
this year, good to see), and for Team Adrenalin punching bag - Brett Lucas
("nugget") for winning the Juniors and coming 16th overall, Great result
'Nugget' and nice speech!
We obtained a shooters profile of the Standard Gun winner - Steve
Clough (prior to his win).
The results for the shoot can be found here. Over the next few days I will be progressively getting some pictures of the shoot online. They can be found here or on our Photo Gallery link to the left. If anyone attended the shoot and have some more they can send us, please email them to us, we would be delighted to include them.
Team Adrenalin now have the Team Clothing available for sale. Please follow the link to the clothing page for more info.

Hi folks. This is the last update before the Team head off to the nationals tomorrow. For all those who will be attending the shoot in Adelaide, good luck and we hope you all compete well, learn lots and enjoy yourself. We will be taking a few cameras with us so we hope to get some Nationals pics up on the page promptly on our return.
It is our understanding the nationals results will be posted here, so you can keep an eye on the stage results. As each stage is worth different points it is impossible to see the overall results until the last day of the shoot.

OK, that's it.....I'm back. No more excuses not to get down the range to throw around lead and get this web page updated more often. The new home is now livable, gun room is set up and the Dillon 650 is pumping out rounds faster than you can say "tumble me some brass god damn it!".
Team Adrenalin shot together for the first time
this year at the Pine Valley Open yesterday. It was a fun day catching up with
everyone and seeing a few new faces in the crowd. Other than a slight mishap with a pepper
popper set up, the day ran smoothly. I managed to take away the Standard Gun win, followed
by my reliable adversary - Dave Lucas and a new shooter that is already demanding allot of
respect - Rob Woodhouse coming in third. Our thanks go out to Dave Lucas and the folks
from Pine Valley Pistol Club ("PVPC")
for hosting the shoot. Many thanks also to Dale Stabler for
looking after the match scoring - the results of which can be found
here. Ohh and also a thanks to John Allman for being the RO who had to put up
with the pepper popper problems, a 25% re shoot rate, and yours truly questioning a range
procedure.
Wayne Weeks took a few shots of the team at the shoot, wich can be seen here. Cheers Wayne!
Orange Grove Shooting Association ("OGSA") have confirmed that they will be hosting the 2001 IPSC state titles on October 21. OGSA host a great State Titles so don't miss it. Keep an eye on the calendar for any other shoots as they come to light.
The 2001 Nationals is only weeks away and the match package is now available for download from the official 2001 Nationals Web Page.
Don't forget, recent OGSA and PVPC results can be found here, or by clicking on the Club Shoot Results page on the menu.

Happy New Year!!
Trusting the new year finds you all well and not too obese from the obscene amount of food that gets thrown at you during the Xmas period.
I'll get straight down to business:
Introducing our new logo for 2001. We hope you like it.

I have emailed IPSCWA requesting a copy of the 2001 calendar for the 2001 open shoots. Even though it will be draft I will update our Calendar as soon as received.
Cliff Payne from the Gosnells Practical Pistol Club ("GPPC") has informed us of a level two open to be held at GPPC on 29 April 2001. Cliff advises it will be two separate competitions but held on the same day. Placings from the level 2 results will be used for the shooting order in "The Fastest Gun" man on man shoot off. The man on man always proves to be a fun shoot. $30 entry fee with food and drink available.
The 2001 Nationals is upon us. Held in Adelaide over the Easter long weekend 12 to 16 of April, it as an event not to be missed. You don't have to be a top grade shooter to attend the Nationals. It will be fun no matter what your skill level and you will learn so much more about our sport in the many challenging stages. Being Easter, it is a must to book your airfares and accommodation ASAP. Visit the official 2001 Nationals Web Page here. If this doesn't answer any questions you may have, contact the hard working Match Director - Bob Balsamo.
Projectile syndicates are a great way to save money when buying lead. Good deals are to be had when purchasing 10 to 20,000 projectiles or more so getting together with fellow shooting friends to bulk buy is a simple way to save bucks with your sport. If anyone is in need of some (some meaning 2,000 or more) 40S&W projectiles, please send an email to James Turner as he is putting together a syndicate for an order very shortly.
Jeremy Flint of Orange Grove Shooting Association ("OGSA") and Dale Stabler of Pine Valley Pistol Club ("PVPC") have forwarded the last of the OGSA and PVPC year 2000 club shoot results. These results can be found on our WA Club Shoot Results link or click here.
Adrenalin HQ is almost finished, current pics can be found here.
That's about it for now. See you on range
and remember...if you cant shoot well..just look good doing it!

Yo wassupp!!!!!!
It's finally time. 11 months of concrete and Silkaflex we finally have practical completion. The big move begins and tomorrow night and Club Adrenalin becomes realty.
The few weeks break over Xmas/new-year should allow time to set up the gun room and get stuck back into loading rounds, ready for a fresh new shooting millenium start.
This will be the last update until I get the new 2 megabit connection up and running which should be some time mid to late January 2001. Once we have that, Team Adrenalin will have the bandwidth to add some cool features to this web page.
So....on behalf of the Team, thanks for
supporting the web page this year, we hope you all have an enjoyable and safe Christmas.
We look forward seeing you on range next year.

Yo wassupp!!!!!!
I have literally just walked in the door from the State Titles and might I say, I'm stuffed. A long day in the sun but a fun one.
The Orange Grove Shooting Association
("OGSA") has outdone itself with a brilliant event considering the large numbers
of competitors. The stage designers did a great job by creating stages that avoided
disputes and arbitration. There were plenty of no shoots (I found my fair share) and
stages that had a few ways to shoot them which always adds that extra challenge.
Great job guys!
Yours truly won Standard Division with congrats to Dave Lucas for coming second (at
last) and fellow Team Adrenalin legend Mick for coming in third.
Gongrats to Tony Welch for winning Open Division.
The results of the state titles can be found from the menu or here.
With thanks to Jeremy from OGSA, most recent OGSA club shoot results can also be found from the menu or here.
The 2001 IPSC Australian Nationals Championships is confirmed as Adelaide. It will be hosted by the Southern Vales Practical Shooting League and held over the Easter long weekend from 12 to 16 April with approx 16 stages and 300 rounds of lead needed. It's a great time to get out of town and hang with the buds for a few days and shoot lotsa lead. Pencil it in your diary now....it's a must. The official web page can be found here. You can download an entry form here.

Yo wassupp!!!!!!
Hope you have all been well and spending lots
of time on the range now the weather is just joy.
As we don't have a IPSC division for cripples I wont be shooting for a few weeks.
I managed to bugger up my ankle a couple of weeks ago so I have a good excuse for
not being on range. I wish I could say I did it doing something cool like
wakeboarding or jetsking however...I just plain stacked it down some stairs...swear to god
I snapped the thing right off! (well that's what my wife thought as she had her hands on
her hips watching me rolling around on the floor trying to get as much sympathy as I could
scam). Hay! Don't give me that look...that's what guys do best comon!
Anyway it just so happens I buggered the tendon that you use to push off sideways with
(kinda useful in prac pistol).
Congratulations to Team Adrenalin legend - Phil for winning
the Gosnells State Titles Warmup. Great job Phil. The results for the shoot
can be found here. (edited

As most of you should know, the IPSCWA State
Titles is just around the corner on October 22. It is being hosted by the Orange
Grove Shooting Association ("OGSA")(old MPSC) and if last years open was
anything to go by....it will be a brilliant event. There may be a few folks that are
thinking "pahhh...that's for all the serious folks"..well your wrong. Open
shoots are the very best opportunity for you to pick up a few tips from your fellow
shooters in well organised surroundings and stages that people have actually spent some
time thinking about.
If you have never shot at an open before...please....now is the time....you will
not regret it and you will not feel out of place. There is one thing guaranteed,
most shooters love helping out and talking shop.
Whilst we are on the subject of attending shoots, now is the time to start your planning for the event of the 2001. The 2001 IPSC Australian Nationals Championships is confirmed as Adelaide. It will be hosted by the Southern Vales Practical Shooting League and held over the Easter long weekend from 12 to 16 April with approx 16 stages and 300 rounds of lead needed. Yo wasssupp!!!!!!
I should probably get the apologies out of the way early. Seeing the new pad is nearing completion I have had very little time for much else other than spending time on the building site making sure all is well and organising fitout selections. As you can imagine it is hard to get the motivation to shoot when your reloading press is sitting horizontal on the floor and your gun gear is packed in five different boxes. The shooting and the web page are unfortunately taking a back seat right now. Once I am reoranised in the new year, I look forward to getting stuck back into training and updating this page more often.
The WA Club shoot
results page has just been updated with all the latest results from Pine Valley Pistol
Club (with thanks to Dale) and the Orange Grove Shooting Association (with thanks to
Jeremy).
Team Adrenalin Legend - Tex is back from overseas in once
piece. He is off to Sydney until November so we look forward to having him home with
his Scorpio competitive Scorpio nature and comradeship, ohh and not to mention my
wakeboarding buddy!
Team Adrenalin Legends Mick and Phil are going well with Mick having a steady and flawless shoot winning the SSAA State Titles a couple of weeks ago. Dave Lucas came in second with his signature "Two A's, Two A's", I came in third with Team Adrenalin buddy - Paul "Simo" Simkin coming in fourth. The four of us make up the SSAA State Team for the SSAA Nationals being held in Perth later in the year. I will keep you informed of dates as I am advised. The results for the SSAA State Titles are available here.
The results of our most recent poll:
Is it time we stopped hiding
shooting sports and launched a campaign to bring our discipline into the public eye? 81% said "Yeah baby lets get seen", 18% said
"Nah Man...lets keep it chill'n".
Which brings me to our new poll: "Factory
or Fiddle". Do you think you get better reliability from an out of the box
factory gun or a gun that's been put together from all sortsa bits? VOTE

Yo wassuup! Seeing the weather has been a bit average the last few nights, I
have gone hard with the web page trying to get our photo album back online as well as some
preparation done for our December move.
In December the Team will be moving to the new
HQ - CLUB ADRENALIN and once in we will have our own server with two megabits of bandwidth
to play with. This means less lag in Rogue Spear for us and streaming video images of the
shooting to you. We will also be bringing images of ADRENAL-CAM!
ADRENAL-CAM will transmit one min refresh pix of the new Team HQ with cameras
poolside (for perving on the Team Babes), in the 132 SQM Gym (so you can watch the Team
train - *beefcake pose*), around the sauna and spa (so you can see Tex butt necked - a
request from many female surfers) and in the gun room (so you can watch us load rounds -
riveting stuff).
You can visit our ADRENAL-CAM beta testing area although you wont find much to look at, maybe one of me sitting in front of the PC (with half the new kitchen sitting in boxes) in the place I am camping at right now while the new Team HQ gets the finishing touches (like walls, a roof,....). My PC is literally set up on a trestle table that I picked up from the local 2nd hand dealer for $25. Apart from my wife, my pistol (and the B&O) everything is in storage. Yes, all sympathy gratefully accepted.
Thanks for all those who voted in the last poll. Here are the results:
Should Team Adrenalin's web page contain pictures of Babes?
As you can see from the results we had an overwhelming amount of votes for more
babes and the "no babe" vote got swift kick in the booty. So... we will be
bringing you more babes very shortly.
Which brings me to our next poll: "LIE
OR PUBLIC EYE".
Is it time we stopped hiding shooting sports and launched a campaign to bring our
discipline into the public eye? VOTE NOW
Seeing it's "G" DAY on Saturday, good luck with the transition and if you
ever reach the point where you're ready to punch little Jonny in the nose - just feel some
comfort in the fact that your not alone and Pistols should be cheaper!

June 15, 2000.
Wasssup buddies! Just got back from the IPSC Nationals and what can I say..an
eventful five days.
The rain held of just long enough to get the
210 odd competitors through 17 challenging courses of fire including "Combat
Wombat" - a nightmare 28 round, 28 target (1 per target), 110 meter sprint through a
creek bed covered in cam netting.
Unfortunately the WA teams took a bit of an arse woop'n this year and yours truly
coming up with an all time worst result ever in at a Nationals. A miss on 15 of 17
stages will do that! There is a lesson here somewhere, I'll think of it in a min.
With thanks to the folks from the Townsville Pistol Club, there were some very
challenging and...different courses of fire that we were not prepared for. We will
know better next time! Congrats to the Victorian Open and Standard
Teams for winning the event. A full list of results can be found on the Nationals link
below.
Team Adrenalin Groupie - Michelle has taken some pics of the Nationals along with some pics
of the presentation dinner. We didn't take any video footage this year so we will not have
too many action video captures for you to look at - sorry!
As with all IPSC Nationals there was no shortage of controversy with the DQ'ing of
WA Junior Shooter - Brett Lucas on the last stage of the event. Brett had a very
comfortable lead for the top Junior trophy as well as a firm placing for 6th overall in
Open Division (which is just outstanding) when he was DQ'd by an infamous WA range
officer. Ahh well Brett, your a winner in our eyes!
The most ermmm ...interesting event of the
nationals this year would have to be Team Adrenalin Legend - Phil's butt neked performance
on level 4 of the match hotel. Yes we did manage to capture this on video and
yes...we will have to get shots of it online soon for your discerning viewing pleasure and
no, this is not an unusual event. It happens alllllll to often!
For your interest, IPSC officialdom advised me at the presentation dinner that they
would be removing the link to the Team Adrenalin web page from their list of links on IPSC
Australia's web site. The reason? "Too much booty!" Which brings me to our
next poll..........
.....As you will soon notice, there are a very fine set of bi-lateral augmentation
mamplasties a bit further down with a link to our "Definitive Babes of Team
Adrenalin" section. We, at Team Adrenalin, have made an executive decision to
stick em on. Why? Cos we can. Being an unofficial site we can DO
AS WE DAMN WELL PLEASE! If you are disgusted by the content and think a responsible
*coff* shooting team's web site is no place for such vulgar display of the female form,
then please vote in our poll now!
and we will abide by our visitors wishes. Alternatively, if you feel you have
more to say then just "yes or no" please throw your comments at us on our guest
book.
Sorry about the local results of late, they have been a bit slow coming (cant blame
the scorers they are volunteers remember). Thanks to Dale from PVPC we do have some
recent PVPC club shoot results
to check out and we hope to get some more OGSA ones up when Jeremy gets back from holiday
(the slacker).
That's about it for now. Don't forget to sign our guest
book and also check out the new and supremely mintox Australian Prac Pistol Shooters Message Board.
Please give it your support.
Take care, see you on range and remember...if you cant shoot well...just look good
doing it!
